Description:
This program will translate an Ezycom v1.02 log file into
self-explaining sentences, each describing a user's specific
actions during logon.
An ANSI and ASCII file will be written regarding this information,
and can either be listed using the TYPE command in DOS, or used on
a BBS to display to users.
Installation:
Simply copy files to a new directory eg. C:\LOGGER
The archive MUST contain: LOGGER.EXE - executable file
LOGGER.DOC - THIS FILE
LOGGER.CFG - configuration file
Usage:
A batch file may be written to execute the program, such as:
CD \LOGGER
LOGGER.EXE
CD \EZY
Note: LOGGER.CFG MUST exist in the same directory as LOGGER.EXE, otherwise
the program will not work.
You may use the program "after every caller" or use it as a nightly
event. The program will ALWAYS list TODAYS's users!!!!
The program does NOT alter the logfile in any way.
Configuration file (LOGGER.CFG)
Line 1: Path and filename of logfile ' c:\ezy\logs\ezy1.log
Line 2: Path and filename of output files ' c:\ezy\txt\logger
(The .ANS and .ASC extension will be
added. DO NOT ADD AN EXTENSION!!!
Line 3 and on - phrases - see config file for more details!
The file MUST contain a minimum of 14 lines, including the "---" at the end!
